Diana Winter has been singing, playing the guitar, writing the words and composing the music of her songs since she was very young. Her debut album "Escapizm", produced by Fabio Balestrieri, came out in 2007. It features contributions from artists of the caliber of Phil Gould (Level 42) and the world-class jazz musician Toots Thielemans, applauded by musical critics as "a work of international appeal" (Repubblica).
In 2007 she came to the notice of one of Italy’s top selling artist Giorgia (who performed duets with Herbie Hancock, Andrea Bocelli, Ray Charles), who described her as 'a pearl' and featured her on the album "Stonata". Two years later Giorgia chose Diana as the only vocalist for her tour, a collaboration that was repeated in 2012, declaring that "when our two voices intertwine I seem to hear the echo of my own voice".
After live appearances all over Europe Diana began to work on her second album and in 2013 she decided to participate in The Voice of Italy 'for fun'. Each of the four judges wanted her on their team ,and in the course of the program Diana stood out for her original interpretations as well as her ability to play guitar, skills that go well beyond those of the usual talent show.
Her second album, "Tender-Hearted", has been released in October 2015.
